Lisa Day is proud to Introduce a brand new author.... Meredith Jade Never Upon a Time You’ve always hated her, but you might not know the whole story. . . Read an excerpt: Edith may not be brazen and enchanted like her twin sister, Ember, but in a world of dying magic, perhaps her simple desires are enough. After a Selection Banquet gone awry, Edith is left without a suitor or a plan. Befriending a little white fox and occupying herself with a philanthropic project outside castle walls, Edith soon rebuilds morale and musters enough courage to reach out to her estranged twin sister. But Ember’s been harboring an evil secret - and thwarted love and jealous can turn acts of merit into classic tales of wickedness in this new twist on an old tale. “You bastard dog!” Gretchen screamed. Such profane words from a child made Wyck stop dead in his tracks. “You wait, you bastard dog. Just you wait,” she called. “I will tell everyone across the Land what has transpired today, and I will make sure generations thereafter hear.” “And what is this threat?” asked the wolf. “You’ll tell them how your aunt was murdered, how your family is dishonorable beyond repair? I don’t understand.” “I will tell them of the big, bad wolf who taunts and tricks innocent girls and of the witch who lures naïve children to her cottage in the Wood. No one will dare dispute the tales, especially if my mother is Queen.” “Do what you will. No one will believe you or your dark-hearted mother,” Wyck said. Empty threats did not vex him. “And why do you say that?” “Because you’re a liar, and those things are untrue. They never happened, so they’ll never be believed.” He paused and added, “And your mother will never be Queen.” With that, Wyck turned away from the wretched girl with the red cape, his appetite now whetted for conflict. The big, bad wolf couldn’t wait to try out his new teeth. ____________________________________________________________________ Buy Links Amazon Paperback http://www.amazon.com/Never-Upon-Time-Fairy-Tale/dp/0692247653/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1404355185&sr=8-1&keywords=never+upon+a+time Kindle http://www.amazon.com/Never-Upon-Time-Fairy-Tale-ebook/dp/B00LGABGTW/ _____________________________________________________________________ Now introducing the author: Meredith Jade was raised in a small town by parents who taught her to love reading. From the moment she could hold pencil to paper, she wrote. After graduating college and traveling abroad teaching English in Uttaradit, Thailand for a year, she came home. Writing was that home. Her writing has a range of inspirations, all a result of her voracious reading as a child and young adult. Anything from Victorian Literature to bird watching guides to NY Times best sellers have served as an agent for her imagination. Never Upon a Time is her first novel. _____________________________________________________________________ Connect with Meredith Email: [email protected] Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Meredith-Jade/648465681892404?ref_type=bookmark Blog: http://thereaderproject.wordpress.com Twitter: https://twitter.com/MeredithJade Fabulosity Reads Book Promotions is a book touring website that promotes authors and their precious works to an extensive audience using blogs, twitter, Facebook and other Social Media, with the aim of introducing them to an appreciative readership.

I’ve been tagged by fellow author Traci Hohenstein who writes terrific women’s fiction. I’m supposed to tell you about my next book by answering the following questions, and then I have tagged five other authors who will tell you about their Next Big Thing. Let’s get started! What is the working title of your next book? Wolfkeeper’s Woman Where did the idea come from for the book? Years ago when I read the ‘bodice rippers’ paperbacks I moved from the European Victorian era to North American Historical and still love reading them. What genre does your book fall under? I think those in the know would say more fiction than romance. But, it is a love story. A love story about sacrifice. Which actors would you choose to play your characters in a movie rendition? Twenty years ago I could tell you. Today with the new actors you sent me to the Google search and after looking at the latest hot hunk actors, all day...What was the question? What is the one-sentence synopsis of your book? Cassie and her son after taken captive must learn to except life sometimes forces unforeseen heart rendering choices on us all. Will your book be self-published or represented by an agency? This one is self-published. How long did it take you to write the first draft of your manuscript? To complete the first draft and a rough one at that about five months. What other books would you compare this story to within your genre? Books by Madeline Baker and Catherine Anderson... to insult a few excellent authors. Who or What inspired you to write this book? Being out of work and having reread all the books in the house. I had no choice but to entertain myself. I am not a big fan of daytime TV soaps. I a little something and then wrote some more. What else about your book might pique the reader’s interest? Wolfkeeper’s Woman doesn’t follow the rules of the romance genre. The hero and heroine do not fall instantly in love. Once Wolfkeeper discovers his feelings for Cassie, the woman whose husband he killed and the child he gave away he knows he has to heal her heart before he can even think of claiming it. Here are some more lovely authors I’ve tagged to tell you about what they’re working on. Look for their posts and consider trying…their Next Big Thing!
